Aaron Carter shared his new song on TikTok.

The former teen sensation, 34, joined the video-sharing site and announced it on Instagram. In the clip, he dropped a teaser for his new rap single.

“Slidin On em NEW MUSIC,” Carter wrote in the caption.

The singer’s post earned over 3,000 views, 180-plus likes, and about 60 comments where fans showed their appreciation for his work.

“Wow seriously kilt it. 🔥 fr straight elevated your sound. amazing job fr. congratulations much love,” one wrote.

“Weird that I just posted a TikTok about you being my childhood crush and then you popping up on my fyp for the first time,” remarked another commenter.

“That track is actually fire! Good job bro! Keep em coming,” the third one added with three flame emojis.

Receiving Death Threats

Carter joining TikTok came less than two weeks after deleting his social media accounts, except his OnlyFans page.

The “I Want Candy” hitmaker deleted his Instagram and Twitter accounts. Days prior, he was promoting his new rap track “Reload the Wesson” on the sites.

Around the time, the singer also received death threats. According to GoodBadBreaking, Carter shared screenshots to his Twitter account that contained very hateful messages he received, including one telling him to kill himself. The same person did an interview with the outlet, explaining why sent Carter the message.

“You want to know the reason why I came at Aaron Carter? Because somebody had to and I sure am glad that I did,” the internet user said.

“This isn’t anything personal but knowing the people I’ve seen him bullied and pushed around like no big deal through these last few years just because he’s an unhappy little brat who got to where he is now based on his own actions shows how ugly it’s going to continue to get for him he if keeps this up,” he continued,” adding, “Aaron is a poor lost soul who lost everything he saw go down the drain based on his poor actions of getting attached to drugs making him the person we all that he is now.”

Why Did He Return To Instagram & Twitter?

On January 11, Carter joined the content subscription service, OnlyFans. In order to view his content, fans need to pay a monthly subscription worth $10, which he lowered from $15. Since signing up as a creator, the “House of Carters” alum has already posted 157 posts, including 125 pictures and 15 videos.

Since he earns on the site, Carter possibly thought that he didn’t need Twitter and Instagram. Apart from the subscription, OnlyFans creators can also get one-time tips and the pay-per-view feature. However, for promotional purposes, he needed the two sites. That said, he reactivated his social media accounts gradually. He returned to Instagram first and shared his new songs. As for Twitter, he went back to the microblogging site only yesterday.

“no matter what people want to say about myself & portray me as something I’m not, I continue to prosper, rise above and stick to ONE thing,” Carter tweeted. “LØVË- have I made mistakes? ABSOLUTELY. Now it’s time for me to turn my life around and be strong for my family. -Ac.”

Currently, the “Popstar” actor is offering a 25% discount on his OnlyFans subscription — which is only for the 100 first-time subscribers.

Carter also joined another video-sharing website called Cameo, where celebrities send personalized video messages to their fans. For personal requests, he’s charging $100 and $300 for business requests.

Apart from building his career again, the singer has been looking for ways to earn more money. After all, he only has a net worth of $400,000. Carter has been earning less in recent years as compared to when he was at the height of his career. As reported by HuffPost, he filed for bankruptcy in November 2013 in Florida, citing $3.5 million in debt, and listed his total assets worth only $8,232.16 in the filing.
